Cold Chain
Lyophilized peptides are temperature-sensitive. We maintain temperature control from warehouse to your laboratory.
Protocol: −20 °C storage | insulated shipping

Why cold chain
Although lyophilized peptides are more stable than liquid forms, prolonged heat exposure reduces protein integrity. Cold chain preserves batch quality until reconstitution.
- Protection from thermal degradation
- Preservation of biological activity
- Compliance with research protocols
- Reduced risk during summer deliveries
Our protocol
From import to delivery, we follow a documented temperature protocol at our Slovenian warehouse.
Import
Cold transport from manufacturing partner
SI warehouse
−20 °C freezer, batch-separated
Packaging
Insulated packaging + gel packs when needed
Delivery
Pošta Slovenije / GLS with tracking
Receiving instructions
Upon receipt, immediately store lyophilized powder in a freezer. After reconstitution with bacteriostatic water, store at 2–8 °C per your protocol.
- Immediate storage at −20 °C or below
- Avoid direct sunlight exposure
- Brief room-temperature exposure during handling is acceptable
- Reconstituted solutions: 2–8 °C, use within 24–72 h
Seasonal considerations
In hot months we use additional insulation and priority dispatch. For regions with longer transit times, we recommend planned B2B deliveries.
For peptides with specific stability requirements, check the COA and research profile on the product page.
