Šifra izbrane dimenzije: PEP-KPV-10MG

KPV (Lys-Pro-Val) is a naturally occurring tripeptide representing the C-terminal fragment of alpha-melanocyte stimulating hormone (α-MSH). Although composed of only three amino acids, it preserves the powerful anti-inflammatory actions of its parent hormone while lacking the pigment-producing (melanogenic) effects associated with α-MSH. Its primary mechanism involves preventing the nuclear translocation of NF-κB, one of the central regulators of inflammatory gene expression. Through this pathway, KPV helps decrease the production of key pro-inflammatory cytokines such as TNF-α, IL-6, and IL-1β. Research has highlighted its potential in inflammatory bowel disease, skin inflammation, and tissue repair models, where it supports the resolution of inflammation and promotes healing of damaged tissues.
